thought provoking

Another in the series Footsteps in the Past, books for 7-11 year olds, linked to the Travel With series for adults. This activity book for children has page references for looking at the adult book which is packed with illustrations & facts & would deepen children's understanding of the personality portrayed. This activity book has black & white illustrations & a simple telling of William Carey's story, & on each facing page a fun activiyt, but also though provoking exercises which will test the understanding of the passage read. Written by teachers who also help in youth groups & know what will appeal to youngster. Permission is given to copy the activity pages & associated text for use as class or group material.GoodBookStall review - Mary Bartholomew - 28/07/05
