Naples/Italy   Saturday 26th October - Saturday 2nd November 2013

We invite you to a trip to the region the ancient Romans called The happy land.
The week includes ascending the most famous volcano in the world Vesuvius, where in 73BC Spartacus slave army consolidated their strength before moving on.

But most famously Vesuvius erupted in 79AD burying Pompeii and Herculaneum, and we shall visit these ruins.
They give a fascinating insight into Roman cites of the first century when the gospel was spreading out across the known world.
Also we shall have a trip to the island of Capri where the Emperor Tiberius spent the end of his life.
Times of worship and relaxation are also included, on what promises to be a great holiday. This trip is during half term to make it available to teachers and those with school age children.

Day One invites you to join them on a tour to Israel walking in the footsteps of Jesus, visiting the places where the Hebrew nation faced great triumphs and seeing the landscapes that inspired David in his praise of God. There will be time to worship reflect and relax. It is a thrilling experience being where so many events occured.
